Why would you be getting mails in like that though?
I'm not sure how you are doing it but I do it through maildrop and have it specified to only do one transfer at a time. I know it slows down the server some but I guess it should also make for a more secure bayes db also. Come to think of it now that i have maildrop doing clamscan, anomy and spamassassin I think i will remove amavisd from my postfix config I dont like the way it does things anyway. But if there is a possibility that amavis by doing multiple concurrent connections can destroy the db better safe than sorry. To my knowledge though is spamassassin cant get a lock it just bypasses the learning so I'm not sure why this would happen anyway. Maybe somebody who knows spamassassin better than I can pipe up. - -- -~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~- Brook Humphrey Mobile PC Medic, 420 1st, Cheney, WA 99004, 509-235-9107 http://www.webmedic.net, [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] Holiness unto the Lord -~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~-~`'~- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/ynSlnT1TkA6FgPgRAmARAJ9DE5Zr+OUf1209YQW1G8N5iFM2KwCdHhOY QkGhnzGkGIAFL7GTUvv5KEg= =RgkX -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program.
