You have to wait for it to catch something to know that its working. Example from an email: X-Spam-Flag: YES X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on vjo-lxutil-07.primeexalia.com X-Spam-Level: ******** X-Spam-Status: Yes, hits=8.6 required=4.0 tests=BigEvilList_187, BigEvilList_192,HTML_60_70,HTML_IMAGE_ONLY_02,HTML_MESSAGE, HTML_TAG_BALANCE_BODY autolearn=no version=2.60 X-Spam-Report: * 0.1 HTML_60_70 BODY: Message is 60% to 70% HTML * 0.3 HTML_TAG_BALANCE_BODY BODY: HTML has unbalanced "body" tags * 0.0 HTML_MESSAGE BODY: HTML included in message * 2.2 HTML_IMAGE_ONLY_02 BODY: HTML: images with 0-200 bytes of words * 3.0 BigEvilList_192 URI: Generated BigEvilList_192 * 3.0 BigEvilList_187 URI: Generated BigEvilList_187
