Stefano, to run SA, you will need a server running some form of MTA (Mail
Transport Agent) such as Sendmail, Postfix, Qmail, etc
i know, but ... should be interesting to do something like my antivirus layer2 bridge does:
check messages
clean viruses
change header
change body
notify users
Layer 2 protocol are things like: ethernet, PPP, HDLC, STP... SpamAssasin, or any is not aware of any layer 2 protocols. Niether is any antivirus program I know about.
