I am noticing an increasing amount of spam that can't be reported through SpamCop because the reporting address can't be found, won't accept SpamCop reports, doesn't want to be bothered, etc. How about a feature that will automatically find a valid reporting address instead of sending those reports to "devnull.spamcop.net" or claiming "Nothing to do" and canceling the reports? If an ISP refuses to accept SpamCop reports and reporting to the upstream isn't a viable solution, make it an option to file a report using the "send email" function. SpamCop could paste the report into the composition window and users could simply change the To: address to a non-SpamCop address. Also, when SpamCop finds multiple reporting addresses such as an abuse and a postmaster address, how about a feature that would send reports to the most appropriate address? Sometimes SpamCop will find addresses for e-mail abuse, newsgroup abuse, sales, technical support, and other contacts all in the sam! e domain. It should be able to target the reports more effectively by recognizing which addresses to use for each situation. - arogge@spamcop _______________________________________________ SpamCop-Help mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://news.spamcop.net/mailman/listinfo/spamcop-help
