When I do a tip to my Ultra60 Linux box, I get a lot of the following types of
messages:
INIT: Id "1" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
INIT: Id "2" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
INIT: Id "3" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
INIT: Id "5" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
INIT: Id "4" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
INIT: Id "6" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
This is something with the init process? What's going on? Through tip, I should
get a login prompt, right? But one never comes up. I just see the normal boot
messages flash, and then these come up. Any info on this situation would be
appreciated.
