Hi. I am trying to install SSH on Sun Sparc Machine and having this
permission denied error message every time i tried to login. I am
running Red Hat 6.0.
I downloaded both standard ssh-1.2.26 and ssh-1.2.26-4i.rpm.
With ssh-1.2.26-4i.rpm, I did
1) rpm -ivh ssh-1.2.26-4i.rpm.
2) I went into the /usr/src/redhat/SOURCE,
3) copied ssh-1.2.26-pam.patch into ssh-1.2.26
4) cd ssh-1.2.26; patch < ssh-1.2.26-pam.patch
5) configure;make;make install
After I had started the sshd, permission denied message happened every
time i tried to login. however, ssh client works fine. I guess I am
missing some other patches here?
suggestion?
