DBRI for audio works nice on my SparcStation LX. But I haven't been able
to adjust the volume. I'we tried audioctl without success, maybe I haven't
used the correct options..
Anyway, I have also got a SpeakerBox. But haven't been able to make this
work. If I connect it and load the module, it recognises the box, and
makes a "click-sound". No more output. Don't know if the SpeakerBox is of
the right type for an LX (are there different boxes?).
BTW: for using mpg123 I have to use these options: --8-bit --mono -r 8000.
For thos not familiar with the command-line options, this means:
8-bit, mono, 8 kHz
It thought the DBRI was at least 16-bit. But if I tell mpg123 that, the
speaker just outputs noise.
