This is probably an old problem?, but whenever using setserial
on a sparc64 (Ultra5) I get the following message:
# setserial /dev/ttyS0
Cannot get serial info: Invalid argument
In the syslog:
xenon kernel: sys32_ioctl: Unknown cmd fd(3) cmd(0000541e) arg(effffa50)
which seems to come from around arch/sparc64/kernel/ioctl32.c
All the serial ports _are_ fully functional though.
Relevant information:
$ cat /proc/interrupts

I have tried setserial versions 2.14 and 2.15, and different kernels
2.1.130, 2.2.2/5/9/10, but to no avail. (UltraPenguin 1.1.9 / RH 6.0)
Is setserial actually really needed (or can it be used) on this type of
hardware, or is it software/kernel related ?
I hope someone can enlighten me on this one ;-)
