We have some Ultra 5s that are currently set to boot from disk. We'd like to be able to set them to boot from the network (while running linux), reboot, do the install via kickstart (which we currnetly have working), then at the end of the kickstart install set the machine to boot from disk again. I've tried 'echo'ing the correct strings to /proc/openprom/chosen/bootpath and bootargs, but this just results in a kernel NULL pointer dereference (unless someone asks for it, I'll omit the register dump). Does anyone know how to accomplish this from Linux?
