You need to get a monitor and keyboard, AFAIR it just won't boot if it
hasn't got its screen + kbd if set up that way. Newer machines at least
can be set up to use a serial tty, but if that one is gone, the machine is
reset (Stop-A equivalent).
The hardrive should be any old SCSI disk that takes the connectors, there
are all sorts of cables with different connectors on their ends. My SS1+
(long dead) had 2 x 105MB disks internal and 300MB external. The 105MB
disks had a tendency to stick, so not to be recommended. We ran a machine
with a Mac disk from a scrapheap for a while ;-)
Check carefully, I seem to remember that those machines are not (yet?)
supported.
