AFAIKR, my SS1+ refused to boot without a keyboard. But I can certainly be
very wrong there. IPX, Classics and SS4s don't boot if set up for screen +
keyboard, and have none. And don't boot if set up for serial console and
have got no live terminal. That's why I was careful to state that this is
AFAIU.
