It did not detect the scsi device. However, using the NCR driver works
fine, and to test it, all I did was s/SYM53C8XX/NCR53C8XX/ in the .config,
then compile.
This would suggest that they use an extremely old variant of the
53c8xx chipset in the Ultra30. Based upon prtconf samples I have
seen for this machine, this would be news to me.
So could you send me "prtconf -pv" and "cat /proc/pci" output
from this system? Thanks a lot.
