Make sure that you copied the integration files to the service desk primary web server and ran the execution scripts(it uses web services calls). Then make sure that you followed the manual 5178 to create the ticket template(incident, problem, request or issue), created the contacts, and the rest of the required information in Service Desk. Spectrum 8.1 and Spectrum 9.0 have a similar process, but 9.0 updates the scripts slightly and introduces the CI sync feature.
