Hi gurus, I'm having a problem with Report Manager at my customer. Spectrum is version 9.1 on a Windows 2003 server, fault tolerant environment with two Spectroservers and one server with OC and RM.
I've noticed today that Central Management Server is down looking in Central Configuration Manager and also in Services. Its state is Stopped. When I try to start it, it's terminated immediately. Starting it in Services brings me the following message: 'The CMS service on Local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the Performance logs and Alerts service.' When I try to start RM from Spectrum login page, new page is opened and 'HTTP Status 500' error is displayed. Looking at Windows Event viewer I've noticed stop/start messages of CMS service. These are the 3 messages which are logged each time I've started CMS: 1. Central Management Server started 2. The root server reported an error Initialization Failure. (Reason: Unable to connect to the database using the provided connection string. Reason: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user 'sa'.). 3.
