Hi Ken,

As I mention previously there might be the devices are not supporting SNMP or 
proper MIB is not available hence you can change value from Initial - Critical 
, Initial - Major or Initial - Minor. Depends on your requirement.

So I changed the Value_When_Red attribute on all my pingables (I suppose I 
would have to use the model editor to make this the default behavior for 
pingables added later?) from 0 to 1 and that worked. The models did go red and 
alarms/tickets were dropped.  Now, is it possible to have a pingable go to a 
minor (yellow) alarm instead of a critical (red) alarm? I was hoping that using 
a 1 instead of a 7 would have done that, but I realize now why that doesnt work.
