We are being asked to use Spectrum's NCM to take over for Solarwinds.
The Network guys tell me Solarwinds just does this via "show running"
commands. I believe it uses scripts and we are trying to get details of
this from them.
Short of that I'm suggesting using SNMPV3 and sftp back to the
SpectroSERVER. Anybody doing this? I'd love to discuss off list the
challenges in doing this.
Anybody using a TACACS account to ssh/scp to their Cisco devices from
Spectrum? I'd love to discuss in more detail what we'd need to do
there. (I am unfamiliar with TACACS and how it would interact from Spectrum)
