I know Spectrum will report Duplex Mismatch; if you enable that trap OID tree in your switch, the switch will detect and send out a trap. On Cisco switches, if you turn on traps without specifying a tree, all traps will be sent, including this trap. I believe the switches will report CRC failures as a mangled packet or something to that effect. Mind you, I haven't managed Spectrum in over a year and a half, so I may have some details distorted or vague.
