I would think that interlocked plastic shopping carts would fall close to the category of solid piled storage of non-expanded Group A plastics less than 5 feet high. This would fall into the .20/1500 category. That being said, the construction of a shopping cart is such that there is a lot of surface area and plenty of air could get to a fire. The question comes up, would they behave more like plastic pallets?

Question: Grocery Store 'Cart Storage' area - considered .15 / or .20 Density? Granted - nothing combustible in this room unless like other grocery stores... they have displays, etc... in this area as well... (The word 'Storage' is the reason I'm asking the question.) Any comments? Thanks in advance!!
