I had Scan2Cad for raster to vector conversions. It did OK, not real great. It really messed up on text. If the drawing was real complex it took a lot of cleanup because it doesn't know what lines are connected to what. So a long line with multiple intersections would come out as multiple segments. Like I said, it made editing fun.

I seem to remember a program that was available a few years back to convert scanned drawings to something that could be used in ACAD. Anyone heard of such a creature? gregg _______________________________________________ Sprinklerforum mailing list [email protected] http://lists.firesprinkler.org/mailman/listinfo/sprinklerforum To Unsubscribe, send an email to:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (Put the word unsubscribe in the subject field) _______________________________________________ Sprinklerforum mailing list [email protected] http://lists.firesprinkler.org/mailman/listinfo/sprinklerforum To Unsubscribe, send an email to:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (Put the word unsubscribe in the subject field) _______________________________________________ Sprinklerforum mailing list [email protected] http://lists.firesprinkler.org/mailman/listinfo/sprinklerforum To Unsubscribe, send an email to:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (Put the word unsubscribe in the subject field)
