Car Wash is classified use group B. (IBC 304). The sprinkler threshold for B occupancies is relatively high, must be a large carwash.
But assuming this is a sprinklered property, and since its an NFPA-13 system, life safety and property protection are objectives. Lets look at this smartly. If theres a fire under this roof attached to a building can the fire spread into the attached structure, or is there a fire separation/barrier ?.
