Old rules~new debate here in the office. You have a 6:12 roof slope, 4 hips and very little ridge. Per 8.6.4.1.4 you place your highest and lowest sprinklers accordingly. The ones spaced along the slope as required are the ones in question. When spacing these parallel (up) to the slope, do you space them on a horizontal plane or with the slope. And do you space to each hip ( 4 individual spaces) or space across the hip ( one floor space) ?
