Not knocking what's been done with the MYSPACE page but kind of the same
thing here as George said. Not acceptable or permissible during work
hours and I sure ain't gonna be chatting about FP issues off the clock.
Also Myspace never appeared to be a real good tool for chatting with
multiple people. You usually only get to see half the conversation on
the Main (Sprinkler) page. And I hate jumping from page to page to read
the entire discussion. (that is unless there is now something
different).

SprinklerChat is a better alternative and already exists and in a very
usable and more familiar format.

Being on the other side of 50, I don't know beans about MySpace.
But there is a very underutilized Sprinkler CHAT forum already in
operation- and I doubt they've filled a thumbdrive with the amount of
chatter. Also free, courtesy of the AFSA and its members.

I also know if my designers are going to be chatting, it'll be on AFSA's
sprinklerCHAT, not MySpace if they want to remain employed here. You
guys obviously are free to chat wherever and whenever you want, it's a
free internet. I've had a few off-Forum discussions in my day, heck
sometimes we even meet in person! Like next month, at the Annual AFSA
Convention.

My opinion is that the vehicle you seek for informal CHAT already exists
without diluting it with another forum.

Okay, I'm always interested in the views and experiences of others. I'll
participate.

I started it and it is suppose to be a very informal setting group.

Karen,
Who started this group and what is their background?
