I'm embroiled in an argument ( technical discussion) regarding sprinkler alarms and I'd like to confirm or deny my understanding (and position) Given an existing fully sprinklered building of public occupancy say supermarket or restaurant (IBC Group M). Given an outside alarm is provided.
1. Is the interior of the building required to have evacuation alarms? 2. Must they be throughout re 72 and ADA? Controlling codes are IBC and IFC land I know we've discussed this earlier but somebody maybe me needs convincing C.
