I've been trying to find my way through section 17.3 (2007 ed) and I've been finding some conflicting paragraphs and some paragraphs that seem to be under the wrong header. For instance, table 17.3.1.1 gives area/density requirements of 0.30 or 0.45 for ceiling sprinklers (for single row, double row and multi-row racks) depending on the distance from the top of storage to the top level of in-rack sprinklers. Reading further through the chapter at paragraph 17.3.4.1.4 (which is actually under the heading of in-rack sprinkler location) it says that for single and double row racks the ceiling density shall be 0.45 gpm/sq ft. Where did the 0.30 density option go?
