Rich, I was always taught that you have to be able to fix anything that you installed. Sprinkler design is not only installing for the equipment...but it's also designing so you can take the stuff out to repair, replace, or maintain it. Sleeves are required for piping passing thru concrete walls or floors.
How are they proposing to take this piping out of the concrete if necessary for repairs? rick matsuda city of dallas -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of R Richardson Sent: Tuesday, December 16, 2008 3:45 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Pipe Installed in concrete We have a proposal to install sprinkler pipe within a poured concrete floor/ceiling. Has anyone dealt with this or done it themselves? Good, bad or ugly.
