We have been asked to sprinkler a warehouse that will store intermediate bulk containers (IBC) containing a non-combustible liquid. They are made of high density polyethylene. MSDS says the flammability is a 1 however we normally treat polyethylene as a Group A plastic. Has anyone designed a system for this type of container?
