SS threaded has a tendency to leak, IMHO Didn't have that problem with swagelock couplings on 1/2" as you'd use for HP sensing lines.

Tom is right-on with the stainless, and there is also brass available in class 300 fittings & valves. You may have to go to a "Fluid Power" supply house such as Parker. These valves & fittings look strange, like square blocks rather than nice round shapes, but they work. The supplier you use for other specialty items should be able to direct you to a sourcefor these.Good luck! _______________________________________________ Sprinklerforum mailing list http://lists.firesprinkler.org/mailman/listinfo/sprinklerforum For Technical Assistance, send an email to: [email protected] To Unsubscribe, send an email to:[email protected] (Put the word unsubscribe in the subject field) _______________________________________________ Sprinklerforum mailing list http://lists.firesprinkler.org/mailman/listinfo/sprinklerforum For Technical Assistance, send an email to: [email protected] To Unsubscribe, send an email to:[email protected] (Put the word unsubscribe in the subject field)
