98% of all statistics are made up }:-) If the NAHB can stuff the public's head full of smelly brown stuff why can't we retaliate if given the opportunity? If one person out there says, "Gee, I didn't think most people thought these were good things, I think I'll get one." then we did a good thing stuffing the box. Remember that Ford sells trucks by stating in all it's truck ads that Ford sell more trucks than anyone else. This type of advertising works or they wouldn't spend money on it. People buy stuff because movie stars pr pretty models say it's good. This is no different than the IRC votes, no matter which side sends the most voters.
