What we use for "ROUGH" calculations for bidding purposes only is the
Appendix A thru H in the Fire Protection Hydraulics and Water Supply
Analysis, by Pat D. Brock. Each appendix is a different material and they
have the friction loss and velocity per LF of pipe at a specific "C" and
flow.
Again OK for bidding, not for design which we use a full Hydraulic calc.

These tables won't work with some of the "Flo" pipes but you can get pretty
much the same info from the pipe MFG.

If you are doing design, and don't have a Hydraulics program, save your
company a lot of money and buy one.

We mainly do new and add-on systems a few retrofits no grids no high piled
storage no extra hazard. Usually all light and ordinary hazard.
