Subject: Spklr in non comb space

I am working on a classroom building with cloud ceilings in each of the
classrooms. Construction is concrete on steel beams. Sprinklers are to be
installed bothabove and below the cloud. The space between the ceiling and
the deck is 2'-6". 8.15.1.6 calls for concealed space sprinklers in
combustible concealed spaces of 3'-0" of less. Am I correct in assuming that
I can use regular upright sprinklers in this situation since the space in
not combustible?
