I am working on a restaurant. The roof structure is wood trusses and the entire building has a ceiling in it varying from 9-0 to 11-6, bottom of truss is at 12-0. The roof trusses/roof deck are on a continuous slope (¼:12) from 16-1 at the highest point to 14-6 at the lowest point. Can I utilize 11.2.3.2.3 in the area between the ceiling and the roof deck? And if so do I use the 16-1 elevation or the highest height dimension between the ceiling and the roof deck? I am using quick response standard spray brass upright sprinklers.
