I have a 2000 GPM pump and per NFPA 20 Table 5.25(a) the Suction and Discharge piping is to be 10". I understand the suction piping has to be 10" for a minimum of 100" (10x the pipe diameter), but how long do I have to keep the discharge pipe 10" before I can reduce to the 8" UG connection?
