Remember that for standard coverage HSW sprinklers, NFPA 13 requires installation at the highest point discharging down the slope. There is no listing deviation from the standard that I am aware of. For slopes greater than 2/12 pitch, EC and residential sprinklers must be listed to discharge across the slope. In all cases, deflectors must be parallel with the slope.

IE: Throw across a 4/12 pitch slope? I don't think so but 13R (07ed) 6.7.7.3 doesn't specifically address deflector orientation so maybe? _______________________________________________ Sprinklerforum mailing list [email protected] http://fireball.firesprinkler.org/mailman/listinfo/sprinklerforum For Technical Assistance, send an email to: [email protected] To Unsubscribe, send an email to:[email protected] (Put the word unsubscribe in the subject field) Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry _______________________________________________ Sprinklerforum mailing list [email protected] http://fireball.firesprinkler.org/mailman/listinfo/sprinklerforum For Technical Assistance, send an email to: [email protected] To Unsubscribe, send an email to:[email protected] (Put the word unsubscribe in the subject field)
