Robert,

Before we can answer you need to find out type of crude, some crude oil can be
considered extremely toxic because of trapped gases within the crude, other
crude can be extremely light with light hydrocarbon components, someone (EOR of
owner) needs to tell you what the products is and I would start with Foam or
AFFF systems not water.

Before you start design have the owner's EOR get the details to you so you can
make an informed decision on the design of the system. Also reminder to
document what you find and how you developed you design criteria and have the
owner and his EOR sign off on it.

Have a fire safe Holiday season!!

Subject: Good one for a Friday

Indoor rail car loading of crude oil. design dry system water only .3/6000
sqft at deck and under obstructions. 100 sqft spacing of 11.2k sprinklers.
Right track or way off. Don't see everyday but may in future.
