I think I have seen this before, but could not find it. We need to run a wet main underground from one building to another. They are about 15' apart. The main will be 7' deep to get below frost. We plan to run 3" galv. sch. 40 with galv. grooved fittings. There will only be 2 ell & 4 couplings underground, and plan to wrap it with what the plumber use to wrap underground. Is there anything wrong with this idea, either code or common sense?
