Main drain test - We keep running in to situations where we inherit new inspection contracts and when performing a main drain test, we have no previous information to compare it to. Either the previous inspection by others can't be found, and/or no general information placard has been hung on the riser (NOBODY INSTALLS THESE INFORMATION PLACARDS. ARE WE THE IDIOTS FOR DOING IT ON EVERY JOB?) and no system acceptance information is available.
With no previous drain test to compare to, do you just write a note in the "additional observations" and green tag until the next main drain test?
