We have a situation where a client for a hotel wants concealed sprinklers in the bathrooms but due to the shape of the bathroom and the height of the shower door we need to install a sprinkler in the shower and also outside the shower(in the toilet/sink area). Now the sprinkler cut sheets don't specifically state they can't be installed in a corrosive environment but over time I can only assume the cover plates will corrode and wont operate properly in the event of a fire. Before I go back to them and explain why it isn't a good Idea to do this I just wanted to hear everyone's thoughts/suggestion or if anyone knows of a concealed residential sprinkler that is suitable for this application...
