Where does that note come from? The AHJ or owner or Engineer of Record? Either way that info should be provided by the Engineer of Record to the installing contractor to be included in submittals to the AHJ. I would certainly hope an Engineer is not dumping this off on the installing contractor.

The letter shall be signed (wet) and address the design assumptions that includes the use of CO2 enrichment, flammable liquids/gasses, and hazardous waste and the impact that includes the overall Heat Release Rate (HRR) and the ability of the fire sprinkler system to suppress a fire. Reference 2016 state fire code section xxx.x.x" I used xxx to block out any reference to the particular project. Any ideas on this stuff. We were hired to just design the system per OH2.
