That's a great idea when used during drywall mud or painting. But if they're sanding, especially with extension sticks, there's the risk of hitting a head. Thank you for the info.

The theory being that the bag would burn away in the event of a fire.
I have seen this used in paint spray booths and other areas subject to overspray, with AHJ approval of course.
