In making an informed decision on our next step, we are considering the head change out and pilot PRVs.

Questions:
1. If we install PRVs, don't need high pressure heads (and probably visa versa), right? 2. Are all high pressure heads the glass bulb type and do bulb type heads require testing every 5 yrs starting with year 20?
3. Are all PRVs flange mounted?

Thanks

Same sprinklers as the 175psi, but tested at higher pressure.

I can only speak for Globe, but I believe other manufacturers are the same.

On a different thread Ben Young made a comment about using higher pressure sprinklers. Does anyone know if these sprinklers are actually different from the standard 175psi sprinklers or do they the same sprinklers that have just met a more demanding UL/FM testing protocol?
