We have an existing building that has extended coverage heads installed, the tenant improvement involves floating wood grated ceilings that are more than 70% open and will be about 18" below the sprinkler head. Light hazard occupancy.
NFPA #13 (2013) section 8.15.14 Open Grid Ceilings does not make mention of EC heads. Do we need to change all the heads in this area to standard coverage heads?
