NFPA 13 - 2019 - The answer depends on the hazard and the sprinkler type. ESFR and CMSA do have requirements that address this issue. For light and ordinary hazards, as long as the individual widths are 4' or less with some separation to allow water to hit the floor,and the sprinkler deflector is above the obstruction, no additional sprinklers are needed.
