Well at least it looks like it isn't too off topic. I'm trying to figure out the correct entrys for Apache 1.3.x so a virtualhost will/can use mod_ssl when I connect. I can't afford a Verisign signed certificate so I'm trying to do a self signed one.
Creating the certificate isn't difficult but getting the correct entrys in the apache config file(s) are killing me. Probably my books are too old - if 1999 can be considered old. I was hoping someone might have done this already and would be willing to share the process they used. Or if you know of a good resource on the web for doing this. Apache.org and searches using google don't turn up anything really useful. Most of the non-apache things are repeats of apache documentation which isn't the clearest stuff around you know. *-| TIA, Rod -- "Open Source Software - Sometimes you get more than you paid for..." ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________________ (un)subscribe: http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/sql-ledger-users Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/
