Its very easy write some words and destroy any package, this guys there does not provide a solution. They only said: "Its preferable to write a new one." But when? I need to make my ledger every month! I used SQL since 1999, and believe me, nobody go through any security hole and destroy my data. I prefer use SQL Ledger than abacus like Dieter said ;) What we can do is enhance it.
