No, it's not tied to TurboGears, but I had TG in my mind when I wrote it. I don't insist on the name, but I think it pretty much reflects the idea behind it: setting up er-models fast.
Jonathan and I might somehow merge ActiveMapper and TurboEntity, then we could also think about an appropriate name.
