  .separator "\t"
Vs
  .separator '\t'


Cool.   BTW, It seems to require double quotes for me, running Windoze
XP, sqlite3.exe version 3.4.0, else the separator becomes literally a
backslash followed by the letter t.     I'm guessing you're using *NIX
and guessing it requires single quotes.
