Are you able to process any SQL statement at all, or do you get this error every time ? If you access the database file using the sqlite3 command-line tool, and try to execute the same SQL commands, do you get the same error ? SQLite makes a temporary 'journal' file while it's working. I think that, on your platform, by default it will be in the same directory as the database file. Does your application have enough privilages to create new files in that directory ?
