There is no point trying this faad.exe binary on Windows. The source
code makes it clear it does a seek on stdin on WIN32 before taking
special action, which means it will have the original bug. It will occur
only rarely and will depend on encountering programmes in BBC iPlayer
that provoke it. I never observed the original bug in the first place so
a test of obviously incorrect source code by me is meaningless.

I can't follow up on ralphy's github page, I don't know where it is or
what such a page does. You have seen my entire lifelong use of git to
date in this thread, I'm a total newbie at git and I don't really have
the time for it.

Hopefully utgg can handle this, do please say if you can't utgg because
after two years we really ought to get this fix in properly.
