I did this by using cat rather than vi. I copied the original file, rm
the original and then created a new via cat.
ReadyNas-MSC:/etc/default# cat squeezeboxserver
SLIMUSER=root
SLIMOPTIONS="--d_startup"
That wouldn't really modify the file, would it? Or is this the output of
the cat command already?
Now that you're in, what would "perl -v" tell you? What about "ldd
--version"?
Which ReadyNAS LMS package did you install?
