Well, yes, somewhat disgraceful behaviour. And it seems that you are being punished for it. I've never attempted to build or install OpenSSL, and have no idea how one configures it. So not much help available from these parts. I see that "/usr/bin/openssl version -a" also returns (on my Debian system) how the compiler was configured at build time: > > compiler: gcc -DDSO_DLFCN -DHAVE_DLFCN_H -DNDEBUG -DOPENSSL_THREADS > -DOPENSSL_NO_STATIC_ENGINE -DOPENSSL_PIC -DOPENSSL_BN_ASM_MONT > -DOPENSSL_BN_ASM_GF2m -DSHA1_ASM -DSHA256_ASM -DSHA512_ASM -DAES_ASM > -DBSAES_ASM -DGHASH_ASM -DECP_NISTZ256_ASM -DPOLY1305_ASM > -DOPENSSLDIR=""/usr/lib/ssl"" > -DENGINESDIR=""/usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabi/engines-1.1"" > OPENSSLDIR: "/usr/lib/ssl" > Spot the --DOPENSSLDIR=""/usr/lib/ssl""-. Does yours look like that ? I would imagine that the version from the Ubuntu repository would. Although I don't know that. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mrw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=38299 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111191 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
